Thoroughly enjoyed the latest Leeched album released this year. Very sludgy, destructive hardcore with an amazing, buzzing tone.

Does anyone have any recommendations for anything else from this year to scratch my blackened hardcore itch? Stuff like Trap Them, Nails, Cursed.

I think it had just been forgotten about, and the vote got closed at some point over the last day or so. I don’t actually think it would have been completely ridiculous for them to get a score. They will have sold lots more records than some of the other acts on there, including ones that I love such as Idlewild. And it could be argued they are likely to probably have a larger legacy and influence worldwide than bands like Bloc Party (no offense Bloc Party). But, probably not enough interest in them for most people for a hgatr I agree.

Sorry for derailing this thread a little. Some great music being posted here.

Late discovery of this album that came out in September. Black metal/hardcore/doom/crust punk from Oregon. By the looks of things this is their second album, the debut having been released only back in April!
