I love the idea of it, and there are one or two good songs on that first album but I do think people were blinded by the novelty to some extent.

That said that album was basically a demo that ended up getting a global release, I keep meaning to check out the second album but I’m never really in the mood.

Sleepless has fast become one of my favourite albums of the year. It’ll be great to see it performed live. In 11 months time…

It was one of my albums of the year when it came out, it’s much better than the first album.

On a different note, I was horrified how bad the new ERR and Thou single is. I mean it’s shite.

Turns out it’s a Cranberries cover. That explains that then.

I feel exactly the same but when I saw them at ATG they sounded so weak and all the disparate elements took on this embarrassing quality that I just can’t shake off and now I never want to listen to them again!

I really genuinely thought Svalbard would get sunbather levels of crossover with their latest, it’s so damn good and very melodic but it doesn’t seem like it’s really happened. Shame.
