Is today April 1st? There’s a Stretch and Bobbito biopic with Adam Driver, Steve Buscemi and Tracy Morgan and it’s not a joke? I mean, I’ll watch the hell out of it, but a film about these guys seems weird

Unfortunately it’s being written by Lin-Manuel Miranda

I think it’s a meme those guys have been doing for a while. Dante Ross and Pete Nice have been posting them too.

Ah, makes sense now

I flip between “this is unlistenable” to “these guys are actually pretty dope” a lot with Phiik and Lungs. Digging this though.

New Schoolboy Q on the way. Seemed to get a mixed reception, but I thought Blue Lips had a load of great ideas and interesting production on it that I think he could streamline into a more focussed album

No idea who these lot are, but their bio begins with this…

With their engaging fusion of hip-hop and rap

… and it’s blowing my mind. Whoever thought to fuse rap and hip hop together?! Geniuses!

Enjoyed that, just stuck it on while watering the garden before a weekend away and it was the perfect length.

Only a 3rd of the way through, but this is really good so far.

I always seem to forget about him until he releases a new album. Hopefully this changes that habit.

I really dig it, lots of cool production and beats going on without being too showy. Just seemed like a good step up for him

Yeah, I listened to A Forsaken Lover’s Plea after listening to the new one and the new one shows a lot of progress, especially in the beat selection.
