Okay so it could be the excitement taking over a bit but right now that main event feels like it might be one of my favourite matches ever. Gargano is comfortably my #1 favourite in-ring worker.

Tag match was really good, like the other AoP matches I’ve seen. Velveteen Dream vs Ohno had a couple of bad botches but it all came off fine regardless and Dream is such a captivating character; enjoyed it a lot. Baszler vs Ember Moon was a bit flat in comparison and I can’t totally get into Ember as a character, but the finishing sequence was decent and I think Shayna really has something.

I love Adam Cole.

Looking forward to the Rumble. Think Steph should be in the women’s match; easy heat and a nice pop for whoever eliminates her.

Amazing NXT. Like how they’ve started not worrying about a cool down match between big matches. Going new japan with it and challenging each match to be better than the premier previous match

Women’s wrestling’s fucking incredible. There are about half-a-dozen particularly who are brilliant - Sasha Banks, Kairi Sane, Asuka, Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, Paige. Some legitimately phenomenal wrestlers and athletes in there.

Given what they had to work with and the fact that five years ago women’s wrestling in WWE was basically a joke, I thought it was surprisingly well put together. Don’t forget two of their top stars were just watching last night as well. Thought in most cases they managed to reasonably well hide people’s weaknesses and accentuate their strengths - nostalgic spots certainly helped with that though and it’s hopefully something they’ll need to rely on less in the future. The only two entries that I thought detracted more than they offered were Vickie Gurerro and Kelly Kelly
