Rory is right up there with Tobias. Tristram and Theo as a sign of a dyed in the wool tory, in my experience

Theyve always been strong on lgbt rights though

We’re going to call our dog Rory. I will make sure he’s a good (socialist) boy

Ulysses was my main horse, but he died and was replaced by Athena who essentially did 2 missions and then the game ended :frowning:

Ah it’s ok, I have a terrible memory so will probably have forgotten by tomorrow anyway

Ro(a)ry the racing car,
Ro(a)ry the number one star,
He’s coming to the line, Looking real fine,
Watch out Ro(a)ry,…

Is Rah-Rah a better name for

  • A lion
  • A Tory

Mick and ror(t)y

My parents wanted to call me Rory, but my gran put a stop to it, insisting that it would make me sound like I was a member of the IRA. So my parents had it as my middle name instead, with the intention of then just calling me Rory at a later point, but they never did. They were probably still just scared of my gran.

My daughter sings the theme tune to Ra Ra the noisy lion. So every time is see Ra Ra I just think of that tbf

This is where I got it from, and then I thought that Ra-Ra also sounded like it could be a nickname for a particularly noxious kind of Tory you might meet at uni, and then that sort of got wedged in my head. Love that lion though, so noisy.

Also, I have had that theme tune running through my head since the idea came up.

She’ll run round the living room screaming “Ra-Ra” whenever he’s on. It’s very fun.

I personally like Zebby the best

GBOZ

(The screaming thing like that is so cute, now our daughter is six she mainly just assesses things with teenage disdain)
