i’d be in the market for these if they’re still about

The Run the Jewels gig at Koko in December 2014 was hands down the stinkiest show I’ve ever been to.

Think they need to get El-P’s live band involved tbh. I’ve seen RTJ a couple of times and not been massively impressed, whereas I’ve really enjoyed El’s shows.

I’m being literal, the whole of Koko stank from thrusting unwashed men.

That said the one DJ set up is also pretty disappointing these days. Could have a drummer at least?

was considering going to the Belfast gig but £38’s a bit steep for me Clive

£38!! That’s more than London. Is that normal?

fucking hell, just looking at the prices (before fees) now - £30 for London, £24 for Manchester, £34 for Belfast. that’s definitely not normal!

i used to find Dublin gigs could be inexplicably more expensive than UK ones but not as much lately and doesn’t usually happen up in Belfast, but must be the same promoter or something. fuckers.

Please please please x2

You’re third in line, so not much chance I’m afraid.

All good - thanks for letting me know x

So, what’s with the countdown on their site then? Anyone know what’s occurring? Posters in London and Manchester too.

Big autumn UK live shows i imagine.

One thing that kept crossing my mind during their set at Field Day…

Nothing Run The Jewels have ever done has been as good as Killer Mike’s R.A.P. Music.

Seen 'em twice this year already, but I am sorely tempted by that Brixton show.

Oh shit! I wasn’t sure if I was going to bother, but that’s convinced me. Incidentally, is anyone else’s countdown still running? Mine still has 5 hours to go.
