She was refused as she wasn’t an essential worker apparently. Though it appears to have been cleared up for episode 2.

Felt like a weird (cheap?) first episode. Didn’t warm to many of the queens.

they have brought back queens arbitrarily in the past - but at least they’ve tried to come up with some excuse as to why in the past… they didn’t even bother here. then they’re rimming Art for her look when it’s very similar to the Marie Antoinette style look that has been done multiple times before, better… and they complain about Anita’s look having been done before!!

Maxi should have won too, she had much more difficult materials as well as a more challenging silhouette to work with and she looked killer. she’s probably my fave now in terms of personality.

the relentless hassling of Elektra and the all-round nasty girl behaviour from Scarlet is really uncomfortable to watch. i do think Elektra is overly defensive but she is being picked on. Scarlet if it’s not impressive to be a back-up dancer for internationally renowned stars then what the fuck is impressive to you, oh, blackface is it???

Scarlet is just a horrible person I think. They might be able to turn that around I guess but she just seems incredibly unlikeable at the moment

. The art thing is just the most ridiculously transparent attempt to generate social media chatter or whatever, just not even pretending that it’s a total set up. :grimacing:
