Canapés and pizza later in the evening
Seeded goat’s cheese roulade with red wine poached pears, sugar coated pecans, baby kale and honey. Slow roasted pork belly with fig stuffing, caramelised plums, parsnip purée, shaved sprouts with jus. Welsh honey, medjool date, fig and pistachio frangipane with clotted cream.

I suppose the obvious choice is lobster, but I’m a vegetarian. Maybe just loads of M&S bits? (Please don’t drop them in the tub, it gets nasty quickly).
A plate that combines samosas with breaded mozzarella looks good to me.
Nothing washed down by a bag of cans.

I don’t think we’ve got one. My team are going out to lunch, but I’ll be darned if I’m going down to Exeter to join them. Thankfully I’m invited to my wife’s. I’ll confirm my choices once i’ve made them, but here’s the menu:

I’m going to treat myself to an M&S snack run in the week before christmas. It’s a tradition.

I got a load of reduced dim sum there yesterday and had them for dinner.
(I’m glad there is an M&S food shop near my mum’s, as she doesn’t really cook, and doesn’t like me to cook either while I’m there.)

They’re just kind of standard salt and vinegar, I suppose kind of strong. I hate crisps without enough flavour on though.
Bought some crap chewing gum in Italy once, that was labelled “menta esplosiva” or something, and tasted of nothing. If I buy an explosion of mint, I expect to get one.
I know, right? There are no veggies, but there is a vegan. not sure what he’s going to do. He can have my mushrooms if i go for the Fillet Steak, I guess…
Our work Christmas meal is incredibly shit. We have to pay for it ourselves and we’re going to a Pizza Express on the 16th. I said I’d go out of politeness but I’ll make an excuse at some point.
