This is a thread about sap. The stuff that comes out of trees for some reason.
I don’t know one thing about sap and to tell the truth I’m not interested about it but someone might make use of this thread nonetheless.
My brother in law has hooked up his trees to extract maple. In the same way as sap. Who knew??
(he is American.)
My understanding is that maple syrup is made out of sap

I know you do. It’s fine.
Our buddleia was crazy heat-stressed this summer and released loads and loads of what I can only assume was sap, pretty much rendering our garden furniture useless (and really, really sticky)
