Morning.
Just having a bit of tea and toast before I leave for work.
Starting late enough this morning that I can get the first train in. What a treat!
Hoping with this wind that there are lots of fallen trees across every bit of the railway and I don’t have to do any work.

Woken up at 5am by my son falling out of his bed. Local park has blown away so his football club is cancelled. Taking him to a Christmas grotto later with my niece. Then pizza. Then going to see Mandy, Indiana.

Hiding under the covers at @Badgerdeluxe 's palatial new Hove pad which (unfortunately, given the wind) is quite high in the sky. Sleep deprivation courtesy of drunk, SNORING bass player rather than howling gales.
Not sure I’ll be sampling any Brighton style free range mung-bean tea sadly unless the weather shuts the hell up!
Drive to Derby is going to be exciting…

Cheekster 2 had to travel back from Cologne overnight in a coach and on a P&O ferry. Amazed she was back on time but so glad she’s home safely

Hi, I will be braving the winds in order to see Julia Holter in concert. I’m hoping my hotel room has a surprise bath in it again, and also hyped up about the prospect of a hotel breakfast.
I’ve learned it’s a really strong set up for a good mood - while you’re enjoying the gig, you’re also looking forward to the hotel breakfast.
Life is good!
