decided to give twitter the chop, every time I log on I get drawn into arguments, read all sorts of horrible shit that makes me sad and angry, and generally makes me think less of humanity. Feels like a weight has been lifted already.
Should probably get an early night as I imagine the 24hour festivities celebrating my work as a father will be extremely thoughtful and involved

A few hours ago, we had our first evening walk in yonks, to drop off a friend’s jumper and some boy-pissing-staue chocolates from Brussels. This was us down by the canal. I think you’ll agree, we felt better for going out of our comfort house.
I’d eaten half of it but was really impressed by the colours.
