Not sure what today has in store. Eldest is off to Brownie Camp for three nights: one of those things that (a few years ago) we wouldn’t ever have thought she would be able to do. But she’s very excited in spite of all the rain that’s forecast!

(As a side note: full marks to the Guiding movement who seem to be excellent on inclusion / SEND)

It is nice - I’m always a bit stressed riding with my kids as I worry about them crashing.

He had an off yesterday and grazed himself up a bit. He’s ok though. Fingers crossed we survive ok

Does he wear protective gear? Or are you a ‘scrapes will aid his character’ type? (neither is better than the other just to be clear!!)… I always was a scrapes kid.

At home no, beyond helmet and gloves (it’s not rocky in Brighton)

Last year we did something similar and he crashed a couple of times so I got him knee pads which he is wearing this time

It sounds like I’m taking about a tiny kid , he’s 15 and nearly 2 inches taller than me :grinning:
