Am currently at Corley services en route to Runcorn for a MIL visit. First journey of more than 30 miles since March.

Services are well set up, but most people seem to be leaving the acquisition of their soon to be mandatory masks until the last minute. I am wearing a pink one to send an admittedly very subtle pass agg message to the macho non-wearers.

Going to bloody well paint my fucking door this weekend!!! If it looks shit I will take it hard.

In other news the tv and I are going for an eight course tasting menu at a Michelin starred restaurant this evening. We were meant to back in May when it was my birthday but alas.

This means it’s technically my birthday today, right?
