Saturday day thread attempt number 6.

Didn’t really have any prior attempts, just thought it added some intrigue.

Up early for the train to Scotland for kicks. Had some marmite on toast and a black tea, need to find my glasses for reading purposes. That’s the news from number 11.

How about what you are going and have had on your toast and on a mug or cup? Or glass. Or cupped hands like a mountain-person?

Morning. Had a cup of tea, 2 x Sudafed and 2 x ibuprofen. Everyone in the house is some kind of ill. Maybe even the cat.

Read some of a book on 70’s politics in Britain and listened to a new jazz record.

Difficult to know where Goulash ends and my dressing gown begins.

Morning all,
Up early so went to the only place that sells coffee at 7am around here. I was their first Saturday customer, this made me happy (I did ask, just to confirm that I was the first customer). Oat flat white, some coffee beans and an almond croissant, if you were wondering. Think I might buy our daughter tickets for Wilco supported by Waxahatchee as a nice present.

I betrayed myself. I made plans when I was meant to be having a weekend at home.

Started writing a novel in my sleep about someone called Simone (Zee-MON-uh).

If both of these are hits, perhaps consider that Dungeons & Dragons/other ttrpgs might be a fun progression of that interest

Rescue cat who already had this name. Don’t know if the adoption place named the cat or not really. Feel blessed that she came into our life with such a great name though.

Every time I read the word goulash I remember the time
My pal had been to Hungary and said something about having a nice goulash and I said ‘how do you know it wasn’t stew?’ Which I still find really funny

Was gonna go parkrun but one near gf’s still has trees in the way post-storm and it’s been freezing over night not sure if next closest will be on.

So just gonna cuddle for a bit
