It is not. That would have been smart, but it was an emergency purchase. The weekend before my professional exams I was packing and realised that I’d left 1500 pages of reference material that I needed for the exams in my office. Which was locked up for the weekend.

Went straight to PC World in a massive flap, said “I need a printer that does double sided, collated printing. I don’t care about colour or scanner, I just need anything that does those two things”. The dweeb who worked there started walking us round saying “hmm, that one does those things but it has a scanner so that’s no good, so does that one…” and my gf said it’s the closest she’s ever seen me look like I’m going to murder someone.

Then we got home and it didn’t come with a printer cable.

Gerting on a hugely overpacked train, squeezing past the all the folk who are standing in the ailes and evicting the people sat in the seats that some system assigned to you.

  • Advance planning saves money and makes life more comfortable.
  • Why is this train so small?

  • It really is pretty poor form, I’d have stood.

Pretty excited to be on my first ever train to Worcester. Other people may have been there bef9re, but I, in all my years, have never*. Didn’t Graeme Hick used to play there? I hope so. Wow! What a place. Ai can’t wait to see what the land looks like out through that train window. Ooooh! What a day.

* unless that is, i went as a child with or unlikelily without, my parents.

Salisbury is famous not just in Europe, but in the whole world. It’s famous for its 123-metre spire, it’s famous for its clock, the first one ever created in the world, which is still working.
