My Saturday is hospital appointment (already here), food shopping, chores, dog walk then Eurovision takeaway & beers round a friends - I’m seeing friends!! :partying_face:

Morning.

Just had a sausage and egg sandwich from the caff. Going to Screwfix and replacing the kitchen tap when I get back.

Might go and have a look for a white van this afternoon.

Morning.

After a very soggy dog walk, we’ll be going for a pub lunch and then to the cinema (Godzilla vs Kong).

This feels alarmingly ‘normal’.

No plans til this evening but I’ll probably go for a run. Might use the day to figure out which posters to put up around the flat and if anything needs to be framed. Got a nice vintage polish poster a couple of weeks ago and a couple of other things I’ve had in tubes for a while.

Morning

I’m going to a party later. A party! It’s my friends 30th birthday.
Before that I’m going to do some pilates and go to the library to collect some books I’ve reserved. Also need to think about what we want for dinner tomorrow incase we need to buy any ingredients while we’re out.

That’s a lot of Doing Stuff :woozy_face:

Morning

Went to bed at 10:30 and slept till 8;30 so pleased with that sleep 9/10

Having a coffee, any sec I’m going to put my phone down and read my book

Got some croissants for brekkie. Seems I have a delivery coming which needs signing for which is annoying, I also want to go and pick up a record from the shop. Weather says it’s raining all morning but it’s not yet

Tonight I’m going to a restaurant (sheltar hall for btown folks) which I’m quite excited about. Think my dinner companion is up for sharing which is good cos it’s the kind of place with lots to try

Got up at 5:30 (thanks cat) was in the centre of town by 8am getting an antigen & PCR test so that I can get on a flight to Spain tomorrow, was back home by 9 and have so few things to pack that I really don’t know what to do with myself for the rest of the day

So I’ve found myself listening to a whole bunch of unreleased Body in the Thames tunes and trying to figure if, when and what I can/could/should release

Hope my tests come back negative otherwise that’s a bunch of money down the drain

Lying in bed pretending to be a baby which is quite a decent game as it involves just lying down and occasionally saying goo goo.

Can’t decide whether to eat breakfast or exercise first.

Have a craving for rice pudding.

Might make mackerel kedgeree :fire:

Currently working myself up to go to big tezzainos for rolls and contact lens solution. Need to get some rhubarb. I hope they gots rhubarb. They had rhubarb on Thursday, but will they have rhubarb today? If they’ve got rhubarb, I’m getting some because that’s what i need. I mean, on top of the rolls and contact lens solution.

I’ll go for my weekly run shortly.

Then a film. Then to my parents to say hello and a cup of tea and then back to my flat to watch films and drink. Usual sort of day for me.

Inevitably I’ll watch the scores during Eurovision although I presume they might have changed the scoring format and technology would have improved communications and so no bad connections between the hosts and juries like I remember in the 80s. They were fun.

I really need to buy a new bike

Been into the bike store and looked the same rack of bikes 3 times now and hesitated pulling the trigger each time as I can’t decide between two models

Tax rebate due in a fortnight though
