My atd was saying yesterday was her bro’s birthday and because he couldn’t go out with his mates they arranged for everyone to buy him a takeaway from various places. She was on a video call with him and every few mins the doorbell would go with a bunch more food. Literally never been so jealous of someone in my LIFE.

In Tesco this morning, I’d say:

  • 20% of people were following the rules to the absolute letter
  • 60% of people were trying their best but maybe would pass by the opposite side of the aisle to pass someone (e.g. 1.5m away for a couple of seconds)
  • 20% of people were acting as if there was no lockdown
