Morning all. It’s a positively tropical 1C outside, but I’m working from home again – which I’m pretty pleased about, given that London has turned into Eyam but with more almond croissants – so the heating will be on pretty much alllllllllll day.

Been doing this for the past few days, hampered by the fact that my partner currently can’t drive or lift anything heavy. Oh, and by a pandemic too.

Morning!

So glad it’s the weekend. I’m currently having a lazy morning which so far has involved cinnamon swirls, coffee and CBBC. Going to brave the cold and go for a bike ride with the boy later to see the sea.

I was also booze free last night, not out of any great good intent but because I had a delivery note saying that the cocktail glasses I’d ordered would be arriving between 5 and 9, so I thought I’d use them when they turned up. By the time they did arrive it was gone 10. Still, fancy cocktails later.

Morning all!

I had a breakfast burrito (two of them actually) and I’m quite full.

We have no plans at all today but I think we’re eating some kind of paneer curry because I accidentally defrosted masala paste.

Got my heating bill for the month. £53. Farewell to the heating going on for another year. Don’t know how people do it who have it on regularly, that was like an hour a day every other day :grimacing:

Foggy today. Going to see if I can find time for a shower at some point :crossed_fingers:

Finished up my David Nicholson 1843 as my “normal” bourbon last weekend, so now just left with this monster I got for Christmas. Need to get something a bit more drinkable ASAP
