As someone who correctly sees all mushrooms and truffles for what they really are, unpleasant, I heard of magic truffles before I’d heard of those ones people cook with, so i’m pretty sure I thought a truffle pig was one that hunted for magic truffles, and was thus probably made up on a trip once.

Productive day. Got myself a nice new shirt and trousers, load of early Christmas presents for our nephews and nieces (we have eight nephews and two nieces so it pays to start early) and a few other bits.

Meant to do a minor bit of DIY (sealing some plastering before painting it) but it escalated into rearranging the living room, emptying out a load of drawers, sticking a load of stuff in the charity shop bag, and deciding we need a new sofa.
