I get this thing where I sometimes get pain around the joints in my right hand index and middle finger, then it gets inflamed, skin starts to peel, heals and hardens, too hard so cracks and splits open revealing raw skin. not sure what it is, doctor just said to avoid soap which is easier said than done. weird thing is that it comes and goes, will go for long periods with out it and then will come back, and when it does I can feel it before it starts which makes me think it is a deeper thing rather than reacting to an irritant, no idea what is causing it but I have the index finger of a 90 year old its regenerated so many times. only thing that helps is hydrocortisone cream but can only use that for short periods

Been out with the lads. Lovely little spot for feeding the ducks. You just turn left at the hospital mortuary…There are about 50 there and they go mad as soon as they see you.
Hosting a bbq later. Which is obviously a complete burden and wish I wasn’t.

Morning all.

I am only just awake and every part of me hurts. My plan to take it easy for USA Nails last night did not pan out so well. I need to be back out at 2 but this feels like one of those hangovers where you need to just hit the off switch for 24 hours.

I’d quite like to re-live the early days of learning the movement of climbing and making quick appreciable gains in strength. That said, I also love how fluid I can feel on hard climbs after I’ve spent hours working on them so… What a bloody great activity
