you’re staying in your sisters student flat, they without a doubt will have a toastie machine!! Go get a whole haggis and squash it in between two slices of bread :smiley: or alternatively you could go get a full Scottish somewhere (sometimes they’re mad and don’t do haggis though, which is just WRONG). Hmm… I just checked, the southpour do a full Scottish with haggis AND black pudding AND tattie scones! Never been but it looks decent :slight_smile:

Haha ooooh no!! I forgot about the beer festival, how was it? I’m currently sat in bed with a bag of mint aero bubbles and a coffee. I’m still waiting for our house guests to vacate so I can take command of the sofa.

Was decent, nothing really blew me away, only had 1 omnipollo on at a time and people didn’t get through it quick enough for me to try another. Got that yesterday’s booze taste in my mouth, eurgh.

Liked the venue but could have done with a bit more seating.

Also @Epimer met someone who’s friend described them as Scotland’s best magic:the gathering player. They were suprised I’d even heard of it. I said ‘it’s a bit like top trumps, yeah?’ Didn’t go down well.
