Fairly heated conversation with my mother in law earlier. She objects to “that idiot Corbyn’s” plan to provide assistance to the elderly and in particular, care for those with degenerative illnesses. Had to call out how fucking stupid her objections are because 1) SHE LITERALLY RUNS A CHARITY WHICH PROVIDES CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA 2) she doesn’t earn EVEN CLOSE to a high tax threshold 3) she then went on to say that she didn’t want wife or her sister to be responsible for her care in old age THEN WHY WOULDN’T YOU WANT SUPPORT TO BE AVAILABLE.

Arrrgh. Ok boomer.
