Just had bed tea#1. Mustering up the energy to be arsed to do loads of things which need doing. Had a really long week at work and really need to do loads of things to make the weekend relaxing and good. Urgh.
Maybe I’ll have a second bed tea and have a crack at the crossword. Yeah, great shout.

Woke up bleary eyed, panicked and checked my phone, worried I had to be in work but no, it’s Saturday! Hurrah!

Got a cup of tea and wearing a massive fluffy dressing gown, going to finish watching first episode of new house of cards, not sure why I’m bothering but I’ve started now and I love robin wright so… there we go. Riveting chat just for you :blush:

Just about to get up to make that first coffee of the day. Expecting this afternoon’s shift to be rather hellish what with the international rugby ball playing right on our bars doorstep. Gonna need more than the one :coffee: to get through it, I reckon.

I’m not sure how comparable the gigs will be - these days he uses a local act as his backing band for each gig, so tonight is with Brighton psych band Zofff. At the Manchester night, Stephen Morris from New Order was his drummer!

Oh yeah, fair point! Quite jealous of the Manchester crowd getting to see that line up! In Cardiff, Quodega and Smudges are supporting. Both of whom I’m unfamiliar with so no idea what that’ll be like. Are Zofff any good?

I’d planned to walk home yesterday evening and listen to the whole new Julia Holter album, but I left too late and was sehr hungrig, so got the train at the nearest stop instead of the one an hour and a half’s walk away.

I shall listen to it while walking at SOME POINT, though. It is my aim.

Otherwise got a band practice in a bit, and my mates are running a club night in hackney with the proceeds going to a homeless shelter, LME get on down, gonna head there after the gig.
