How is your Saturday going?
I’ve had 3 non-consecutive hours of sleep because the leak from upstairs - which has been going for FOUR MONTHS AND THEY HAVEN’T EVEN TRIED TO FIX IT YET - got worse and was dripping loudly

Morning froggers et al!
I’m in a caravan park by the coast. The rain and wind last night were heavy but it seems nice today.
Wor Lass is doing a craft market in Newcastle so we’re leaving soon to take her there.
Morning Froglet
Been up since 5.30 for absolutely no reason but couldn’t get back to sleep. Sat with a coffee feeling groggy, listening to the birds outside and waiting for the baby to wake up.
Hoping to find time for a nap at some point because it’s my BiL’s birthday party later, a big one with loads of family and there’s no way I feel like I can manage that much socialising on this little sleep.
Morning. Have some pals arriving today, staying for three nights. House isn’t fully cleaned and my parents are visiting before our pals arrive.
Also need to nip out to Sainsbury’s at some point.
Seemed to have developed restless leg lately which I’ve only had before when i was pregnant and I’d managed to forget how absolutely torturous it is. Was up for hours. It’s the absolute worst. I really hope it goes away
The cat is rubbing his head on mine hopeful for breakfast. No one tell him I’ve run out of cat food.
Tour today. Got a few actual experts in the topic coming
Tell me more about this. I’ve got visiting parents and a day to fill. Is it the Ouseburn one?
FTFY
Easy solution, parents arrive, you go to Sainsburys, they clean and tidy your house…
Morning all
We’re taking Cheekster 2 and her friend (and Cheekster 1) to Go Ape this morning as a pre-birthday treat. Weather is looking… interesting. Think it should just about be okay!
Another awful sleep. Was so exhausted that I fell asleep watching Silo (felt like a good series but has slumped after 4 episodes) and woke up on the sofa before 5am. Took myself to bed. Still awake.
Have a weekend with loads of work to catch up on and looks like weather is gonna be awful.
Long sleep, needed. Might nip out for eggs and make pancakes. Eldest has exploded with pox, so nothing doing today
Managed to get up and shower without the bairns waking. Littlest one was shouting for me a bit before i got in shower but she seems to have given up at some point.
Cinema for hey duggee bright and early. First time taking the youngest. Not sure if it is just a hodge podge of different episodes or what but it’ll kill an hour. Then was maybe gonna take them for lunch but i can’t think of anywhere suitable.
Then the long slow slog till their bedtime, i guess.
Stewarding at the Ouseburn festival this morning / early afternoon and then seeing the bands after that.
Guess I might see @keith and @robstation01 then!
Mostly hoping the rain holds off
Had pancakes yesterday. Made those lovely little ones with 1 mashed banana to 2 eggs. No other ingredients needed.
This time last year we were approaching that 40°C heatwave. Kinda don’t mind an unsettled, windy July
I can’t stand it
WHERE IS MY SUMMER
Had to wear a jumper yesterday and wellies. Ridiculous weather
Anyways.
Today is gloriously free of plans so going to take dog out and then read my book and take a nap
Yes - they’re just behind Northern Print.
Been out to move my car and accidentally bought a chocolate croissant on the walk home. Now back in bed watching Smackdown and putting off all the chores I have to do today.
Just put a holding deposit on a new rental place in Harrogate.
Off to buy a Barbour jacket and Tory membership to celebrate
