Ooh, is the run a race/organised thing or just yourself? I usually do 4 or 5 halves a year and have decided next year I want at least two to be ones I’ve never done before so am on the lookout.

Had a minor dream revelation about how to resolve a work conflict that’s been worrying me: I can just say no. Done.

Lots of festivities with family today!
Worked until 9pm last night so treated myself to a little pizza.
Also, whilst I am here, the way fresh egg yolk and brown sauce mix and coagulate together is one of the greatest visuals in life and is so appetising. So full of the promise of flavour – beautiful!

Standing in a muddy field in kilsyth waiting on a guy from easterhouse who is putting on a german accent and wearing a lab coat and calling himself Professor Balance, to teach the OG bairn how to ride a bike without stabilisers.

Morning
Going to Oxford today, going to go on a boat ride 
and hopefully eat some nice food, I’m going to campaign for coffee and cake to feature, too 
The state of my hair is really getting me down, never looks nice, it’s all straggly. I’m going to get it cut soon (last haircut was in 2022) but I’m really tempted to just chop off the dry ends today, can’t make it look worse can it? And a hairdresser will sort it soon.
- Chop a few inches off
- Leave it to the professionals!

Weather looks grim out so likely a day of reading, tidying and a bit of sport. Going to fill out a form to adopt a cat as well.

Bit sad and preoccupied for reasons, going to go for a bike when I finish this coffee, gonna be wet for a bit from tomorrow I think so I need to make it happen
