I’ve wasted so much time on https://www.yummly.co.uk/ looking up recipes, wondering if it’s worth me buying a bun steamer so I can make my own bao. it definitely is
Could post you a plaster?
Got some Excellent salads and a barley and mushroom roll from the m and s deli for lunch. Very good.
Prob should weed the front garden…after the match
Actually put one on before posting this. I just wanted to moan. Mrs. Z thinks I should pop it

This is the bao recipe I’ve been eye-ing up, might tweak the fillings
I blame myself when this happens for allowing Enormoton to fall asleep on me.
Made some sort of shakshuka thing for lunch which was alright, predictably R didn’t want to touch it though. He has been very trying today, but I think he might actually be settling for a nap which is a rare occurrence these days. Cautiously looking forward to a sleep too
I’m on a Leadership course with eight people grinding axes about why they haven’t been promoted.
Through observation, I almost know exactly why these people haven’t been promoted.
Bought two tickets for a gig tonight back in April/May thinking: “hey, I’ll have probably made a friend by mid-September. It’ll be fine. It’ll be fun.” …Nope. Haha
Oh well. Currently have beer and football to distract me.
Went into a bakery to get a brownie and came out with all this

Aww meow! I hope she feels better soon x
Stop number one done: seitan buffalo wings at Temple Of Camden. A solid 8/10 - needed celery instead of lettuce.
One of the Brewdogs in Edinburgh has started doing seitan burgers and they are delightful.
Their food is normally pretty good and they’re no more evil than Wetherspoons.
Honestly, it’s just nice to find a meat-substitute on offer, and in two different options.
Burn all mushroom burgers.
Stop two, banging plate of fish tacos from Club Mexicana. Really tasty, more of a nori than fishy flavour which is good for me. 7/10.
Someone’s got a cool dress on. Is it you?
