In my last year at primary school I won a raffle or some sort of competition that was happening during our last disco. I got to choose a 7" from either No Limits OR a Take That song, Babe maybe. If no one had been there to see my choice I would have gone for TT but I remember realising that it wasn’t cool and all eyes were on me so I chose No Limits.

As if that was a cool option but I guess to 10 year olds it was. Also, pretty out there to be raffling off vinyl in the age of the tape/CD.

Just bought a spice rack inspired by this. Gone for a free standing thing though because I hate that stupid corner of my kitchen which is work surface but unusable because of being in a stupid corner. It’s only little but it’ll fill the corner void a bit and I can have the essentials in there.

I can almost guarantee these dudes are just weirdos (in almost any context, that’s a weird thing to do). Unless you were currently on fire, in which case they may have had a point but really should have found the nearest (and most suited to the type of fire) fire extinguisher

My dad tends to Soundhound the music I listen to in the car when I drop my parents off and say stuff like “perfect day for (song title) by (artist)” and whatnot.

Through this I found out I share a birthday with Oneohtrix (as well as Thurston Moore)

That’s taking it a bit far, mate. I sometimes have a non-alcohol beer after I’ve had lots and lots of normal beers but don’t feel like going home/drinking water and want something resembling beer to accompany my chain smoking, is all.

Just got back home, as my aforementioned ATD brought me out to meet some other friends of hers. It was really good to hang out with her, cause seeing as she had a new baby in November she doesn’t really socialise much these days, and on top of that the baby was recently in hospital for a few days.

So that was nice but I didn’t really connect with any of her other friends, if you know what I mean. Back home with a can of beer open and some crisps on the go, might catch up on Vikings actually. There’s some Amy Schumer on, but not really feeling it.

Oooooh I forgot to mention, I actually left my phone back home when we left my flat like 2-3 hours ago so it was really a beautiful reunion when I returned home.
