I’m watching Hey Duggee with The Child while I drink coffee. I’m playing football in a bit and then no plans. We were meant to be eating Brazilian food in Edinburgh but our babysitter let us down.

It’s nice waking up to some sunlight.

Had a divine sleep, have to unpack my case, have a bath and then think about the day.

Football (Hendon v Gosport Borough), need to sum up the beauty and nuance of the occasion in 140 words for the national press within an hour of the end…

Might go for a few drinks with folk after the game.

No idea what I should do today. The little one has a playmate over so the two of them are completely contented in their hybrid My Little Pony + Barbie + Sylvanian Family world - even Spiderman, Action Man (or the Swedish version ‘Big Jim’) and assorted Pokemon have cameo roles in their fantasy universe.

So I’m kind of just sat here actually considering doing some work…like work work. Might finish the book I’m reading but even that is work related.

Also, pretty broke until payday Monday

Morning all. Bit tired after seeing a play and then going to a gig yesterday. Have to go and buy teabags now.

Reeling a bit from the news my parents are selling their home. Seems like they made the decision overnight. Boring finances talk:We had a financial agreement in place where we were to borrow enough for a deposit from them but now that’s up shit creek and we’re stuck in this mouldy shithole for another few years. I appreciate it’s their decision but it now means my GF and I have to change a lot of our plans.
