I’m up super early. Earlier than required but now I’m up I darent go back to sleep. Just had a cold shower and lubed up my bib shorts ready for my little trip.

Just got in to work. Stinking, smoky steam train was in again, setting the fire alarms off, which is all a bit of a harsh sensory experience for 6am.
Kiddo was up at 5.45am. Gonna meet a mate I’m helping train for their first half marathon for a slow run along the Thames and then probably not do any of the resting I’d like. Ideally I sit on the sofa with a 8% beer and listen to the vinyl copy of Siamese Dream I bought earlier in the week. I doubt I’ll get to be that DiS.

She’s got a birthday party this morning and then her drama showcase is tonight. I’m hoping to eat sandwiches and drink coffee between then.

Think we’re going to the beach this morning though it looks pretty cloudy at the moment. Going to take my visiting friends on a bike ride this afternoon I think.
Somehow 17 empty beer cans were in the kitchen this morning. Hmmmmmmm.
