Have you looked into sleep hygiene at all? Just asking because i think lying awake in bed is not usually recommended for insomnia and there may be some other recommendations that could help

Don’t know if she did, was too busy manually shutting the machine off myself, raising the lift cage and dragged him out of it.

Melatonin should help especially if the problem is falling asleep as opposed to staying asleep. Might have to order online because you can’t get them over-the-counter in the UK (I think?) but it’s pretty cheap.

I haven’t but I’m looking into it now, thanks. My routine is way out of whack just now which is being compounded by the sleep issue. Definitely going to try and implement some of this stuff once I am a bit more on track with things.
