My parents’ pub had all of these and actual bags of poppadums (equivalent of two 'doms to a bag). Way ahead of the snack curve were my folks

Absolutely (also just pilfered them anyway). I probably have an unhealthier relationship with snacks than I do with booze, come to think of it! Find it harder to say no to crisps

Thanks for the initial responses. From polling, it appears that there could be a shortage, but it’s not everywhere. As ever, if we continue to gather more data, we’ll be able to get a much clearer picture of the problem.
