Finding it hard to decide between:
- Jam or cream on first - probably best to put on the thickest substance first. Cornish and Devonian folk argue about this don’t they?
- Cheese scone v plain scone - a plain scone, fresh from the oven, is a thing of beauty, but we’ve been getting through quite a lot of cheese scones during lockdown and they’re becoming a firm favourite in the CCB household.

I’ll start it off with Strickland & Holt in Yarm. The scones are huge and taste wholesome.
