I just took a call from sitters.com wanting to know why I’ve registered on their site but not booked a babysitter yet. FEELS LIKE FATE. Is December out now though? The 22nd dec is me and his 5 year anniversary (that’s right, the 2012 Glasgow xmas meet was in stereo on Sat 22nd Dec. The night I famously went up to a random guy and said ‘are you japes off the internet?’. The answer was No). :heart_eyes::champagne:

yes, and then we went on to that AWFUL bar in the merchant city so that I could buy redacted (which bar admittedly made you a very decent old fashioned.) Poor Lo-Pan had been having a lovely night too and then he bumped into his ex, and it was all so random as we had kind of gone out in merchant city to stay away from real life stomping grounds! that has to be, attendance wise, one of our best ever meats. I eventually got home on the Monday afternoon (i.e. late on xmas eve). Oh memories.

Any Edinburgh crew going to be around on those days between Christmas and New Year?

BASICALLY my partner and I are spending Christmas at our flat in Edinburgh, and then she’s going to London to see her family. So I will be around on my lonesome for those days.

The temptation is just to buy loads of nice beers and German christmas biscuits from lidl and play video games / watch movies / listen to records, but maybe I should try and do something outside of my flat as well…
