Scottish football 2026/27

It isn’t a punishment imposed by the SPFL.

It’s an agreement reached between them and the clubs apparently.

There’s more detail on it here:

couldn’t agree more. old firms are so much better with the away fans.

Serves them right. It isn’t worth the policing effort if they can’t be grown up about it

Didn’t see any of the match but heard we should have won by a few. Still 3 wins on the bounce

Wow, go the second best team in Falkirk who aren’t East Stirlingshire!

D’oh. You’d think I’d have learned to read the article rather than just the comments on Facebook by now.

Doesn’t compute. Stenhousemuir have never been that team in the 35 years I’ve been following Scottish football.

Managed to watch it on a slightly frustrating stream at a mate’s house. Best I’ve seen us play under mcinnes. Motherwell had a load of the ball but we weren’t in an awful lot of danger which is pleasing given how well Motherwell have been performing.

We created a lot more than we have been but should be burying more chances and hopefully shankland isn’t out for long.

If Thistle manage to fuck up their best chance of promotion in years to fucking Stenhousemuir then I’m taking the ball away hame

They didn’t look great against Livingston tbh, Livingston had 2 fairly clear penalty shouts denied and were all over them.

Huge game a week on Tuesday now

Aberdeen’s Scottish Cup defeat to Stenhousemuir scarred me more than all the subsequent “shock cup exits” (QotS, Queen’s Park…even Darvel felt like it was inevitable at the time). So I’m now fully expecting a Dons v Stenny relegation play-off.

With us having won the league right? RIGHT?!!

Fair play to them for stepping up a league and keeping going. They had Caley’s number all last season tbh.

Long season ahead for us :smiling_face_with_tear: considering where we were survival is enough though.

Oh it’s genuinely incredible stuff so far… just not at the expense of the Jags please

I think we both know how this season ends for Partick I’m afraid. At this point I’m wondering what sort of burial ground Firhill is built on.

Also sad to report thistle were poor against Ayr. Squeaked a 1-0, we ain’t going up with a starting midfield of Oisin Smith and Robbie Crawford, mince.
