Currently clearing out the garage so have sold a wardrobe, chest of drawers and given away a load of stuff last week.

There are some twats (giving stuff away free, arrange time and then they don’t show up and never hear from again) but usually people are alright.

Find gumtree worse for selling decent stuff as everyone is on there looking for a freebie and not my bargain 5ft pine farmhouse table for £140

I’ve got a mate who loves buying second hand cars off Ebay / Gumtree and selling them on for a profit.

Quite tempted to do something similar.

Boring eBay question - I’m selling something for the first time and I listed the delivery option as Royal Mail Tracked 48 but I can’t seem to buy that as I think it’s a business thing. But eBay is suggesting I can send using “1st Class Signed For” and it’s listed as “Buyer Selected”, so that should be ok, right? I’m not going to get screwed for using a slightly different delivery method?
