Why though? 73% haven’t received their gifts, we know there’s postal delays and some haven’t even posted theirs yet. Waiting two days to ensure more people can participate in the thread is just a no brainer

There’s still a few days to go and the majority have posted things out now. The closer it gets to Christmas the harder it is for me (at least) to be on DiS, and other people are off and things. Let’s see how it looks nearer the time and it’s japes’ call IMO. I’m happy with deferring but think it’ll be ok by the weekend.

I have accidentally opened mine. I remembered I had ordered something from Amazon and reasoned that if it was my secret santa gift it would be wrapped but it wasn’t!

if you can’t manage wednesday (ie you’re travelling or something) and have to open it before then just take a couple of photos and you can post on the day / when you can

I didn’t want it postponed just because I didn’t have mine, it was more about everyone being able to post theirs in the thread on the day. If people disagree that’s fine, was just a suggestion

I was just yanking your chain. Whether it’s Monday or Wednesday it doesn’t make much of a difference, I agree with Meow that it’s quite nice that it strings along for a few days of opening but appreciate people want every chance to take part on opening day. Japes has fixed the date now so think we’re all good
