My takeaway was sheâs fine with austerity and thinks âdifficult choicesâ had to be made and the choices made are justifiable due to labour WRECKING the economy.
I kind of think this is either what she truly thinks or what she thinks will play best to voters. ie coming out and addressing it will get bad headlines so best to ignore it.
I wonder if theyâll ever properly address what they did. I donât think theyâll accept blame if itâs politically damaging and I donât really see this lot of Lib Demâs ever dropping that âreigning in Tory excessâ line.
All the Lib Dems I know think of themselves as entrepreneurs, think Jo is good, think labour are Hard Left and never mention anything other than Brexit and Corbyn. I think theyâre idiots or disingenuous or in denial about how far to the right their ideology is and how it plays out in the real world. I donât know how they can not engage with ideas beyond those mentioned above. it seems so obvious to me that the very least all those dead people deserve and all those people whoâve suffered, and their families deserve is an explanation from a party that wants their vote about why they killed people. So to not properly address it, to me means they donât care enough about certain groups of people and theyâre ok with that or yeah, they donât understand that people need the government to help them out with things.
Or theyâre just scared J. McDonnellâs gonna get them locked up and they donât want to say something theyâll regret
