Very good - don’t think mine is going to be as eloquent really

I’m trying to make a complaint but the page isn’t even loading - did it take this long for you, or do you reckon they’ve got a bit of an, er, traffic issue?

Done it twice, internal server error both times. Must be a few complaints going on.

Sorry, that was probably me sitting on the intertube

It’s working again, if anyone wants to put a word in

how long before she’s got the security guards again to protects against momentum thugs

It was the exact word, but troublesome is also used a lot in place. I’ve heard both bandied about.

Done - bet that morning report where all the complaints are included for everyone to read is going to be a fucking riot

Note - I actually managed to not swear at all in my submission, go maturity!

Just submitted a complaint.

That BBC complaints website is not fit for purpose btw. Shambles.

“temporarily unavailable” now

Do I need to point out that there’s no way any of the complaints will be deemed valid? I mean I know the underlying argument, but linking to the Twitter account of someone in the news, on Twitter, is never going to be considered even worthy of a minor bollocking, still less anything more serious.

[Gonna cop some flak for this aren’t I so I’ll make my point clearer. She’ll be judged on what she actually did, not on what people think her intentions were.]

Where there is a lack of recourse it’s worth taking the only routes you can, if only to voice your unhappiness with the situation. This is a public organisation with a stated complaints procedure, and this is a good example of a proper use for it, in my opinion. I agree with you that the likelihood is that these complaints will be dismissed, but it is still important to attempt to hold people to account, even if you feel it is unlikely they will be.

Yep fair enough. Being angry isn’t a bad thing. But might as well make them short and save the typing

It’s genuinely awful, like they haven’t updated it since 1998. Clearly not a priority for them. Anyone got Anne Robinson’s number?

Thought I’d check up, see how things are going
