“Missing,” the next installment in the “Searching” franchise.

That’s a franchise??

Just piddling around on Letterboxd…and the rest of the year is pretty damn stacked for me:

(28th) Athena (Netflix)
(28th) Blonde (Netflix)
(30th) Flux Gourmet

(21st) The Banshees Of Inisherin
(21st) Decision To Leave
(26th) The Good Nurse (Netflix)
(28th) Triangle Of Sadness
(28th) Wendell & Wild (Netflix)

(4th) Amsterdam
(11th) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
(11th) Suzume
(16th) The Wonder (Netflix)
(18th) Armageddon Time
(18th) After Sun
(18th) The Menu
(23rd) Strange World
(25th) She Said

(9th) Pinocchio (Netflix)
(16th) Avatar: The Way Of The Water
(23rd) Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (Netflix)
(30th) White Noise (Netflix)
(30th) They Cloned Tyrone (Netflix)

Still would like to catch up with Crimes Of The Future, See How They Run, Fire Of Love, Do Revenge, Incantation, Mona Lisa And The Blood Moon, Moonage Daydream, Vortex, Mad God and Playground.

Blonde with that rare Letterboxd flat ratings line.

Similar VERY DIVISIVE shape to that of Southland Tales, Freddy Got Fingered, Showgirls and Salo…

I do wonder if there is some review bombing going on? From what I gather she has a very ’particular’ fanbase akin to Harry Styles / K-pop bands and they’re (rightly or wrongly) very protective of her and think this is exploitative in some way.

i had no idea about this but damn those reviews make it sound like something …

I’m just annoyed there’s no cinema showings here it looks like, was hoping there’d be some like other past Netflix films
