Looking forward to seeing these…
1990s, Banpo town, rural China: a woman’s body is found by the river. Dedicated detective Ma Zhe is assigned to head up the case, leading to a mysterious psychological journey through a labyrinthine maze of clues.

I’m enjoying some of the reactions and reviews from the Venice film festival.
One film that is getting a lot of attention in The Brutalist. Soundtrack done by the singer from Cajun Dance Party.
film festival stuff is always kind of annoying though, we have the very few people who have got to see these films discussing them when the rest of us won’t get to see some of them for months, and these days everything gets a standing ovation for several minutes (deranged behaviour) complete with articles in the media about how long each standing ovation was
Very happy to see the rave reviews for Rebel Ridge. Thought it looked better than the standard Netflix John Wick Lite stuff
