Yeah it was a weird inversion of the last two years in that we were very clinical with our chances yesterday. Think that metric undervalues us a bit though, and whilst it didn’t lead to that many shooting opportunities, we asked questions of their defence with how aggressively we pressed man-to-man and how many men we’d throw forward.
I’m not especially concerned with the chances we gave up in the circumstances (The first senior start of Struijk’s career at CB, Koch in training less than a week, plus Liverpool’s attack are miles above 90% of what we’ll face) - if anything i’m quite encouraging by them blocking and Meslier in net etc.
