Most going to Trabzonspor right?

Different reports but apparently nearer 50/50.

Trabzonspor could have bought him for £6m, but he needs to play 50% of games this season, plus they are under a transfer embargo. Also if they did buy him, the deal meant he had a buy out clause for £10m meaning they could only ever make a £4m profit. Buy We also couldn’t recall him

Sorloth also refused to return to Turkey.

So instead we’ve agreed to tear up that agreement and sell him to Leipzig for £25m. So £12.5 each. So Trabzonspor get £8.5 more than they would have and we make a profit on him too.

Trabzonspor are claiming they get £20m but apparently that’s not true.

Reckon that’s entirely on the strength of his James Bond villain ass name.

Why do The Hammers think Tarkowski will sign for them, and why are they trying to spend over 30mil on him

It won’t happen he moved from Brentford back up North to be close to his family. Unless it is someone big like Leeds he isn’t going anywhere.

Just seems mad they’d think he’d go from a club constantly pushing for Europe to one where they fight relegation every year as well

Sorloth?

No , they’ve actually made a profit on him

In other former Oldham Athletic employee new Neil Warnock has tested positive for Covid and I am now convinced he is the sole reason the North-East is getting a local lockdown.

Hope you’re alright, weird goblin man.

Thiago to Liverpool then. Brilliant signing, would’ve been a much better get for Man Utd than VDB.

Bale and Thiago are incredibly exciting additions imo. Sergio Reguilon should be a great signing for Spurs too.

To be fair to him, he’s about 10 years older than I’d have assumed he was.

Less irked about Thiago than I am about Spurs picking up a class young left back whilst City are still farting about sourcing a centre back who won’t cost 100 million quid. Fucking abysmal window.

Spurs absolutely shattering the wage structure that has defined them for at least a generation of footballers.

[Jack Pitt-Brooke from The Athletic] Tottenham will not pay a loan fee for Gareth Bale, they will pay half his wages which is £300,000 while Real Madrid will pay the other half. The deal will cost Spurs / save Real Madrid £12M in total

All has to be taken with a pinch of salt, but I’d say this was likely true. Real will probably be happy to get half and no fee

Just hearing from my itk pal Jack Pitt-Brooke (at the athletic) that Tottenham will not pay a loan fee for Gareth Bale, they will pay half his wages which is £300,000 while Real Madrid will pay the other half. The deal will cost Spurs / save Real Madrid £12M in total

worth pointing out Bale doesn’t earn close to 600,000 a week base. his base salary is something a lot closer to 300,000.

That’s lovely
