After listening to 6music together for the last 12 years I’ve only just discovered @Avery’s loathing for Liz Kershaw. He first mentioned it a few weeks ago and now keeps banging on about how much he dislikes her. Yesterday I came down for breakfast to him raging about how she’d just been saying she couldn’t see women as astronauts and insinuated that it was because you need to be strong to go to space and men are strong and women aren’t. WTF, Liz.

Slightly different question but I am just wondering if I am weird or not.
Being put off/not bothering with watching a rom-com if you find neither of the leads/romantic interests attrative.

Being put off an attrative (whether irl, in a film or in a book) because they have an unsexy name or the name of a close relation or something like that.
Eg - The male lead of the book I just started is called Vernon.

Works the other way around too. Some names enhance a person’s attractiveness.
I think also a good standard name becomes sexier in your head if you’ve known someone sexy with that name.
