Can’t be too disappointed with a point in this match under any circumstances but our record against the big 6 is 5 points from 18 and that’s just not good enough to compete.

It’s looking increasingly likely City and United will come 5th and 6th, City because it’s literally impossible to predict whether they’ll turn up on any given day and United because they just can’t get points out of the big boys. Assuming Chelsea and Arsenal are a given for top 4, hard to see either of us coming above Spurs or Liverpool.

Draw probably the deserved result there. Didn’t see the Rooney foul as I was taking a piss but would’ve preferred it if he’d be sent off. Tried his best to make Pogba look half-decent in comparison when he came on.

my Everton + draw double netted me a nice profit £2.56 returns £40.13 :sunglasses:

currently enjoying Henry looking bemused at the intensity of the discussion between those either side of him ahahaha

Phil jones is one of the worst centre backs in the history of football

One of the sloppiest games of football I’ve seen in ages that. Both teams resorted to just volleying it down the wing under no pressure from about the 50th minute. Fucking awful stuff.

Cardiff won yesterday

The lesson Fulham gave them last week’s reaping rewards already

Weird how completely useless Pogba was today. Completely overawed by the occassion or just a bad day at the office, he was a liability and shouldn’t have played 90 minutes.

Not so weird given his performances in other big games perhaps.

I like that everyone using his #hashtag was doing so to call him a belm. #brand!

That’s how he has been in every big game ive seen him in, cept the semi final vs real

True, though I don’t remember seeing many performances when he was so detrimental to the overall play.

It’s because you’ve accepted someone like him as ‘really good’ that you’ve won fuck all since fergie left, he’s never good enough

How did you get on today, pal?

The issue with Pogba, beyond the fee putting huge pressure on him, is that his own fans hype him up to such an extent that opposition fans can’t wait to knock him. One feeds the other. I’d consider most of the regulars in these threads to be quite sensible, but generally, in real life for want of a better term, United fans have quickly decided he’s the best thing since sliced bread based on quite a simple run of games. I literally hear or read people every day describing him as the best in the world, and this sort of attitude is endemic of United fans.

In reality Mourinho has quietly gone about patching up his defence, Carrick and Herrera have brought good balance to that midfield, Mkhitaryan’s given them pace and Zlatan’s doing more than his fair share up front, so Pogba’s to some degree getting away with it, but over time his performances will level out and he’ll put his mark on big games, but in the mean time their supporters might be wise to play him down rather than build him up when he looks like peak Yaya Toure at home against Sunderland or Leicester.
