Aye, for reasons best kept to himself Mick Jones decided to record his digital wristwatch playing an alarm of the “Dixie” song.
I first became a massive fan of the Clash in the early 2000s so that really confused me as I thought someone had thrown a Nokia 3210 across the Matrix back into 1982

Yeah I always used to think it was an alarm or someone ones phone being weird and going off enough to pause/mute the song.!
Was years before I discovered it wasn’t “Charlene”. Only ever heard it in clubs or the radio.
