Shellac

?

Bristol ticket in the bag

yes, they are safe

It feels a bit weird to be posting a link to Shellac on Spotify but whatevs, they’ve made an official release of those Peel sessions from 2004 and 1994 that we all have bootlegs of

Nice to hear them not over-compressed to be honest.

Also, I discovered someone added Il Porno Star to ‘song meanings’, although thankfully no one has actually bothered to write anything

Ah nice Cardiff on a Saturday night. I forget what / where Y Plas is, in the Student Union somewhere I think. Almost certainly be going with some Cardiffian friends.

Same for Cardiff.

Yep - Y Plas is the “old” student union. Not the best of venues but I’ll take it.

Will definitely go to the Brighton date. It’s been a good week for gig announcements

Brudenell on a friday night. Magical

Shellac at the Brudenell on Friday then black metal in Manchester on Saturday, sounds like a good weekend!

The one that’s not the Great Hall which isn’t great. By which I mean the Great Hall ain’t great.

Let it be known that I am excited for Shellac of South Wales

Hope they add Irish shows too.

As long as they don’t play ‘The End Of Radio’ because I am sick of that song.

As if they’re not playing TEOR!

Next you’ll be telling me there’s a chance they won’t play Wing Walker.

Haven’t been a massive fan of TEOR live but I love it on record; I love Wing Walker and will happily hear them play it again.

They better, because they’ve not played it at either of the last two Belfast shows!
