Does anyone find themselves neglecting to put much thought into their footwear as they get older? From a fashion perspective I mean.
In my 20s I ued to be a bit picky about shoes, but nowadays it’s all about comfort. It might just be lockdown, but the other day I went to the shop in a pair of baggy joggers and hiking boots. That sort of DGAF attitude would have made me cringe a few years ago.
In a few years I will definitely be a candidate for those mail order “comfort fit” clogs you see advertised in the Sunday supplements.
But swim suits are clothes, so…

In Terminator 2, Arnie, playing a coldly logical killing machine, says ’ I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots and Your Motorcycle’. From this, we can deduce clothes, boots (a type of shoe?) and motorcycles are all distinct things. QED
