What’s inside?

Yer classic pork and cabbage (with ginger, garlic, soy, white pepper, spring onion and sesame oil)

dumpling dipping sauce and smashed cucumber on the side.

Help please, bakers and makers of DiS -
My BFF is coming to stay this weekend
She’s into:
Salted caramel
Sour cherry
Pistachio

Can anyone recommend a great pudding/dessert recipe based around one of those flavours?

salted caramel, sour cherry and pistachio brownies?

(this is helpful advice)

Pistachio biscotti
Panna cotta
Sour cherry and amaretto coulis
Salted caramel brittle.

I’d stick that in front of them and watch their face melt right the fuck off

The biscotti is probs overkill tbh

i sent some actual helpful stuff too!

Big fan of a caramel and chocolate tart.

Bake a sweet shortcrust pastry base, add a thick layer of salted caramel let it set, and an Xtra thick layer of dark chocolate ganache.

Sour cherry maybe you could make(or buy) a syrup/cordial and use it to make cocktails or soft drinks?

All great ideas, thanks!

Our friend made us a chocolate caramel tart the other weekend and it was ridiculously good.
I want something a little less sweet for this friend though.

Sour cherry cocktails are a great idea!
