We made our own haggis toasties last week, rendering Deeneys completely redundant :sandwich:

Fuuuuuuu!! Your haggis related posts make me drool EVERY SINGLE TIME Irons!! We’ve still got one in fridge which went unused for Burns Night so very tempted to make one of the above or maybe I could attempt one of those pizzas you did last year

Ha it’s a doddle too and the dough recipe is great.

@anon89873996 @WizardLizard Thanks, I don’t really like marshmallows so I must always make tiffin. It used to be my go to thing to make for work as it was easy, always went down well and there was someone allergic to egg. Got the recipe from my mum and then add cherries (and popping candy next time).

300g digestives
200g milk choc
200g plain choc
200g golden syrup
150g butter
80g rasins
50g rice crispies

As I said very blurry picture. Think i used the hairy bikers for the sponge and Nigella for the icing. Had to use a recipe that used the Just added some chocolate covered popping candy to the cream in the middle.

A bit blurry yes but it still looks rather tasty indeed :ok_hand:

Looks incredibly delicious! Hope your tv enjoys it and has a great birthday :slightly_smiling_face: :birthday:

Did you follow a recipe at all or was this one of your own creations?

I think I need this right now :heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Oh no me neither  - still looks awesome!

Just used up some overripe bananas (plus some apples for added flavour / texture) to make a tasty loaf  :bread:

I have that same mug with the mountain scene! I wish I also had the delicious cake.

It’s a rather cute mug, isn’t it? With the wintery scenes depicted on it, I feel like I should be drinking a hot chocolate from it rather than hot squash!

Nicely weighted too. Tends to be my go-to hot chocolate mug, as my go-to coffee mug is unclear on whether it is microwave safe or not.

Aha that’s quite handy to know as I don’t think I’ve tested it out in the microwave yet after only getting it a couple of weeks ago :slightly_smiling_face:

Making an Anna Jones layer bake thing of

  • chopped tomatoes, garlic and rosemary
  • spinach and red onion
  • ricotta & parmesan
  • lasagne
  • roast sweet potato
  • blended butter beans with lemon juice as the sauce

Pics to follow. Smells peng

Sounds pretty great, got any pine nuts to top it off?
