There was still a load of mess in shot at the other angle! If I was really staging it I probably would have thought to put the bowl back in place.

It is a carrot cake, made for my mum’s friend so I didn’t get to eat any of the actual cake. I used to do cake orders all the time, this must have been my first in three years so decorating skills are a bit rusty.

Funny you say that, it is was a Hummingbird recipe that I used. I had a work trial there forever ago, but had a minor breakdown on the day so it didn’t go so well…

Nah, I am well over it, no bad memories as tbh it was amazing to have even got to the trial considering how many people showed up to the application thing (queue was half the way down Wardour Street from their branch there). I was just using it by way of explanation that it made sense for you to say it looked like something from Hummingbird.
